Spanish Language Acquisition
Rebekah Morris is a Professor of the Practice. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University and completed her MA at the University of Virginia. Before beginning her teaching career, she worked as a professional translator in business and telecommunications. She has taught at the middle school, high school, and college levels, and she has directed a semester abroad program in Spain and a summer abroad program in Mexico. Currently, she is the coordinator of the beginning Spanish courses. She has served as intermediate Spanish coordinator, faculty advisor for Sigma Delta Pi, the Spanish honor society, secretary of the Wake Forest Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, and treasurer of the North Carolina Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.
