20th and 21st Century Latin American Literatures and Indigenous Studies
Andrea Echeverría, Associate Professor, holds a Ph.D. from Georgetown University and a M.A. from the University of Virginia. Her primary research is focused on contemporary Mapuche literature and visual arts. She combines ethnographic and literary theory and analysis in order to understand and interpret the texts that constitute the basis of her current book project.
